MyMapSpace - Map Friends

MyMapSpace.com is exactly what you would expect from the name, your very own space to map what is important to you. Think of it as your very own treasure map! Each member is given their own personal map to plot their favorite places. Where you have been can say a lot about who you are! Friends can then join your map and leave comments or what are referred to as "shoutouts" which appear on the map from your friends locations. How cool is that? Not to mention each person or place can also be assigned a photo, resulting in a personal collection of favorite places and people unique to each member. Now tell me, you wouldn't find that convenient?

Individual maps are great, but what if you want to meet someone else who shares an interest? Group maps! Each member can also join or create groups to collaborate, gossip, network or just show their fanaticism. Perhaps you're not the only person who is obsessed with LOST, sugar, or even ninjas? If a group for you doesn't already exist, create it! And the like-minded will join. Members are plotted on a shared map, so not only can you talk with them, but also see where they're from.

Ok so now you have your own personal map, and belong to a group or two but still haven't satisfied your desire to express who you truly are? Don't fret; each member is also given their own space to write an autobiography or blurb about themselves, making your page unique. To make things easier there is also a survey section of likes/dislikes for many common topics such as favorite colors, music, sports or even television.

Now that you're absolutely in love with the site and wish to share your map with the world. Would a simple link express such a desire? Is the flashy mymapspace button just not enough?
